Laser Acupuncture: When Traditional Acupuncture Is Redefined
Are you afraid of needles?
Traditional acupuncture is an ancient Chinese technique that involves the insertion of fine needles just under the skin in specific points according to a mapping of 'energy pathways' to relieve pain and treat a wide variety of complaints. The World Health Organisation has recognised acupuncture's ability to treat many medical conditions ranging from neurological to gastrointestinal to mental and emotional ones.
But have you heard of laser acupuncture?
Laser acupuncture uses one to fourteen laser needles that are not inserted in the skin but simply applied to the acupuncture points to help alcoholic addictions, reduce weight and to manage sports injuries.
Find out how different it is from traditional acupuncture and how effective it can be in solving your health problems with Rodney Lim from the Laser Acupuncture Centre.
This talk is brought to you by The Living Room at Library@Orchard.
